Projecting Life
The impact of pregnancy and baby loss can last a lifetime. Our research is here to change that.
Half of all adults in the UK have experienced baby loss or know someone who has. Too many families miss out on making memories and sharing milestone moments with the children that didn’t make it. Tommy’s is here to change that story.
We can't do this alone. We need your support to fund the research and care families rely on.
Some more of our recent campaigns
Our vision is to stop the heartbreak and devastation of baby loss and make pregnancy and birth safe – for everyone. Our award-winning campaign work is an important part of this, and spans every one of our goals as an organisation: to grow evidence, improve care, tackle inequities and mobilise for change. Here, you can find out more about our current and past campaigns.

Every Loss Counts
Around 200,000 miscarriages happen each year – but we still don’t know the true scale because crucially, we’re not counting.
We’re partnering with Stylist on a new campaign to change the public conversation around miscarriage and baby loss and improve care for all women and birthing people affected.
After my loss, I took great comfort in everything that Tommy's does and stands for and was particularly moved by their We See A Mum campaign. I found Mother's Day this year very bitter sweet being pregnant with my rainbow baby but also grieving the loss of my first baby that should've made me a mum.

It’s vital Sir Keir Starmer’s Government recognises the devastating impact baby loss has on families and commits to providing the right care. -
The new government must commit to transformative change to save more babies’ lives
The Labour manifesto promises that no matter your background, you can thrive. This needs to start from pregnancy and birth.
Support after baby loss
Sadly, some babies are lost during pregnancy, birth, or shortly afterwards. We have information for anyone who has experienced the loss of a baby, whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, or termination for medical reasons. Tommy's specialist midwives also offer support via email, phone or online.
