We're delighted to welcome Dr Jyotsna Vohra to Tommy's as our new Director of Research, Programmes and Impact.
Jyotsna joins us from the Royal Society for Public Health, where she has spent 3 years as Director of Policy and Communications. Prior to that, she established and led the Cancer Policy Research Centre at Cancer Research UK, delivering evidence and supporting interventions to reduce preventable cancers.

Jyotsna’s career to date includes a role as Research Manager at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, raising awareness of the inequities and research gaps that affect child health.

“I’m looking forward to using my experience and skills to drive forward impactful research and ensure it makes a real difference in improving maternal health and saving babies’ lives.”
Jyotsna, who has a PhD in molecular biology and is a Trustee of Moorfields Eye Charity, takes up her new role on 22 July 2024.
